The developer has continued to support the game, as just last month WW2 weapons were introduced to Escape From Tarkov. This type of gameplay in an MMO game is intriguing, as fans have been asking for city maps in battle royals and online experiences as apposed to open outdoor gameplay.
In Tarkov, it's possible that much of the areas will be explorable. Even a game like GTA 5 online, which has a huge city to traverse, doesn't allow players to climb inside of most buildings. Even more intricate than levels like Interchange, which is getting a rework for Tarkov, Streets of Tarkov looks to be a fan-favorite map.Ĭity gunfights and exploration on such a large scale are very impressive, and usually only relegated to single-player style games. What's more, the video ends with the player looking out of the window up towards gigantic skyscrapers above, indicating that the entire city will be explorable, and will most likely have the same impressive amount of detail. The sheer detail in each room is astounding, and the graphics and lighting are impressive. Escape from Tarkov runs on Unity, one of the best engines available, and the visuals in the teaser are remarkable.
The video showcases about two minutes of gameplay, as a player simply walks through a wartorn and abandon downtown metropolis. Streets of Tarkov was teased in a gorgeous trailer on the developer's Youtube channel. Escape from Tarkov continues to expand, as the massively multiplayer online first-person shooter has a huge and growing following on PC. Battlestate Games, the game's developer, has supported the game with great effort, and recently a new video dropped online showing off what will be the next map in Escape from Tarkov.
